KUALA LUMPUR: The founder of Nouvelle Visages cosmetic line, Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya, 47, has been reported missing by her family members after she left her house in Gombak to go to Banting one week ago.
It is learnt that Sosilawati, who is the ex-wife of rock singer Nash, failed to return home after telling one of her daughters that she would be going to Banting for work and would be there for three days.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah said police had received the report on Sosilawati's disappearance but had no other information, so far.
"From our initial investigation, we found that her family has not received any threat on her life or a phone call for ransom.
“But her children have not been able to contact her on her mobile phone," he said when contacted by Bernama.
"At the moment, the case is classified as a missing-person case," he added.
