More may have died at hands of Sosilawati killers

KUALA LANGAT: As police dug deeper into the shocking murder of Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya, they have come up with the chilling possibility that several others – as many as nine people – could also have been killed and disposed of in the same manner.

These individuals were all reported missing and were linked to the two lawyer brothers who have been identified as the chief suspects in the murder of Sosilawati and three men who were with her.

Other developments:

> The wife of one of the missing men, an Indian national, said her husband had come to Malaysia after being invited by the brothers;

> The wife of bank officer Noorhisham Mohammad is still holding out hope that her husband is alive;

> A police scuba team dived into Sungai Kanchong looking for the murder weapon although nothing was found at press time;

> Sosilawati’s eldest daughter is most likely to inherit the estate of the cosmetics millionairess;

> The Penang police are reopening several unresolved cases in which lawyers were killed.
